Institutional Development Plan (IDP)

Overview

Vysya College has developed a comprehensive Institutional Development Plan (IDP) to guide its long-term growth, academic excellence, and transformation in alignment with UGC regulations and the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). The plan is structured into three progressive phases with clearly defined objectives and implementation strategies.

Phase I: 0–5 Years (Up to 2030) – Strengthening Academic Excellence

Objectives
  • Achieve higher NAAC accreditation (A+/A++)
  • Strengthen teaching–learning processes and governance
Key Activities
  • Enhance curriculum design with Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
  • Strengthen Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) practices
  • Introduce skill-based and value-added courses
  • Improve student performance and placement outcomes
  • Integrate ICT tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Phase II: 6–10 Years (Up to 2035) – Achieving Academic Distinction

  • Establish Vysya College as a centre of academic and research excellence
  • Expand interdisciplinary and industry-oriented programmes
  • Increase research output and innovation

  • Introduce interdisciplinary UG and PG programmes
  • Strengthen research culture through:

Phase III: 11–15 Years (Up to 2040) – Institutional Transformation

  • Strengthen infrastructure and research ecosystem
  • Promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and global engagement
